This is a collaboration with my buddy (and then roommate) Cole Garlak from the year 2000. One day I was messing around in Cubase and came up with the music. Cole was elsewhere in the apartment, overheard the audio and said "hey man, let me put some vocals to that." So I burned him a CD mix and over the next few days he drove around in his car listening to it, writing the words and melody in traffic. Then we recorded his vocals and the rest is history. Personally I think his contribution makes the lion's share of the song and I can't imagine I would have been happy had it remained an instrumental.
